Setting menu
background image and music
Note: Menu's only apply to
optical output types, e.g. DVD-Video or Blu-ray.
If the menu tabs are not shown on the left, you can
go to the menu by left clicking the 'Menu' home button from
the top tool bar.
To customize a menu, select the
‘Menu Theme’
tab.
From here you can set the menu background,
layout, frame style, navigation buttons and highlight
options..
To change the
background image for the current
menu, left click on the
required background image in the background scroll window. If you
wish to set the menu background image to your own custom image then
left click the ‘Set background
Image’ button and navigate
to your image or video file.
To set the background
music for the current menu, left
click the ‘Set background
music’ button and navigate to the
required music file. The music will only be played for the
'Menu repeat
duration' setting before
repeating.
To
have playing thumbnails on the current menu, select the 'Playing thumbnails'
option. When previewing your menu, you will notice that the button
thumbnails on a menu do not contain a static image, instead they
play a mini version of the slideshow in the button. If you do not
want this behaviour, then un-select this option.
Note: The menu button
thumbnail will start playing from what ever slide was selected as
the thumbnail slide (see
How to organize a slideshow chapter ).
To
have a zooming background effect on the current
menu, select
the 'Zooming
background'
option. This option only applies to image backgrounds and it not
relevant to video backgrounds.
To
preview the current menu, left click the 'Preview
menu'
button.
Note:To reset the music back to
nothing, right click over the ‘Set
background music’ button and select
‘Reset’.
